"Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Alan Afsari is amazing from the moment me and my nephew met him due to my nephew breaking his ankle Dr. Afsari was very kind, caring, and approachable, he greets you with a elbow bump which I thought was pretty neat seeing that COVID is going on, he explains everything that need to be done in detail and he gives you good follow up instructions, and he did an amazing job with the surgery he performed on my nephew to fix his broken ankle, he had me at hello because his personality and demeanor is absolutely outstanding he was so kind, caring and attentive he is just all around awesome!"

I work in healthcare and can say without question that Dr. Afsari is one of the kindest providers I have ever worked with. He treats all patients with respect, patience, and dignity, and is a fantastically skilled surgeon. Dr. Afsari is honest, humble, and dedicated to finding your best orthopaedic solution. He loves what he does and it shows... though he’s a trauma surgeon, he also does a great total hip or periacetabular osteotomy. You will be so glad you saw him!

Cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Dr. Fahs and his staff. From check in all the way to check out, everyone was great and friendly. Dr. Fahs is fast, efficient and makes sure to give you his full attention while he is caring for you. His attention to small things like wrapping my daughter’s doll’s arm to match her cast really made the experience something great. Great to find a doctor that actually talks to and hears your child! My case was a complex one. I suffered a humeral shaft fracture, and unfortunately ended up being in the small percentage of people who develop a serious postoperative infection, requiring hospitalization and additional surgery. Dr Fahs had been supportive and extremely thorough throughout the ordeal, even when the responsible thing to do, wasn’t what I wanted to hear (hardware explant). He genuinely wants the best outcome for me, and had respected my priorities as an athlete and kept that at the forefront of all decisions regarding my care. Even though my recovery hasn’t been straightforward, I have always felt like I was in the best of hands.

Dr. Adam Fahs was very professional and I always felt I received excellent care. I could not have asked for a better result from my reverse shoulder replacement. I have full range of motion and no pain! Thank you Dr. Fahs.

What I liked about my visit everyone was so kind and patient and my doctor always took time to talk to me and also very good at explaining every thing to me .????

Dr Fahs performed surgery on my fractured hip, inserting a titanium rod on my femur from hip to knee. Surgery was a success, but took 3 weeks at a rehab facility before going home and months of therapy and work on my own to recover. A year after surgery I'm walking without a cane and playing golf. Dr Fahs has been supportive throughout the process. The fractured hip has healed perfectly. I would highly recommend Dr Fahs for any orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Fahs is a fantastic surgeon. My incisions are healing wonderfully and the scars are better than I’ve seen on most after knee surgery. However the staff at the Detroit office is not great. Not nice, not helpful, and very short with the patients. I prefer the Farmington office. The staff is much friendlier and don’t act like they hate their life and jobs.

Dr Fahs is a very knowledgeable and caring physician.He genuinely cares for each person as an individual and takes times to listen to their concerns.I am so pleased that he was the surgeon involved in my care.His expertise in trauma orthopedics was exactly what was needed in my unusual circumstance. We are so fortunate that he is an associate in Beacon Orthopedics.
